    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and execution of release plans, considering business priorities, project timelines, and resource availability.
    • Collaborate with engineering and deployment teams to establish release schedules and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Leverage expertise in Azure services to design and implement deployment strategies that optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Evaluate new Azure services and technologies, recommending their adoption based on project requirements and objectives.
    • Configure and manage Azure DevOps (ADO) boards to track and prioritize release activities, work items, and dependencies.
    • Establish workflows and dashboards within ADO to facilitate transparency and collaboration across teams.
    • Utilize Visio or similar tools to create detailed application architecture diagrams, documenting system components, interfaces, and dependencies.
    • Ensure that deployment plans align with the defined architecture and meet performance and scalability requirements.
    • Develop comprehensive deployment plans using Microsoft Project (MPP), outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocations.
    • Coordinate deployment activities, including environment setup, configuration management, and release validation, to ensure successful deployments.
    • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, to communicate release schedules, status updates, and post-release reports to stakeholders and target audiences.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and status updates to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the release process.
    • Identify potential risks and dependencies associated with release activities, developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
    • Establish contingency plans and rollback procedures to minimize the impact of release-related incidents on production environments.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and repeatability of release management practices.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for optimization in future release cycles.

    Qualification:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in release management, preferably in Microsoft environments.
    • Proficiency in Azure services, Azure DevOps, Visio, and Microsoft Project.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Relevant certifications such as Azure certifications or ITIL are a plus.
