Descriere

For one of our clients, the premier Online Travel Agency (OTA) in Romania, we are currently looking for a Junior Accountant, to join their Finance & Accounting team in Bucharest.

Main responsibilities:
Performing full accounting evidence, under a Senior Accountant supervision;
Assuring that all records, transactions, reports, operating practices and documentation are in compliance with Romanian regulations;
Involving in accounting activities which may include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Expense Report, Intercompany Transactions;
Preparing and reconciling all accruals and deferred revenues & expenses (including any requested additional breakdown in excel )
Daily bank reconciliation;
Accounting of coupons granted to customers (including any requested additional breakdown in excel)
Preparing month-end closing accounting and fiscal activities by meeting all required legal obligations and deadlines together with the other colleagues
Preparing on time, accurately all financial reports ( D300, D394,D 390,D100,D101,SAF-T) under a Senior Accountant supervision
Executing any other daily accounting tasks based on instructions from Chief/Senior Accountant Guidance (. ensuring the proper booking of primary accounting documents )
Assisting financial statutory audit, budget and forecast activities

The ideal candidate?

Degree in accounting or related field required
1+ yrs accounting experience
Knowledge of Fiscal Code appliance
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Good command and use of Excel (medium - advanced level)
Effective communication skills
Adaptable in fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Open minded, proactive and interactive attitude
Good team work and the ability to supervise more junior members
