For one of our clients, the premier Online Travel Agency (OTA) in Romania, we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant, to join their Finance & Accounting team in Bucharest.

They are travel enthusiasts dedicated to making the world more accessible to their customers.Main responsibilities:
Performing full accounting evidence ;
Assuring that all records, transactions, reports, operating practices and documentation are in compliance with Romanian regulations;
Involving in accounting activities which may include General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Expense Report, Intercompany Transactions;
Preparing and reconciling all accruals and deferred revenues & expenses (including any requested additional breakdown in excel )
Daily bank reconciliation;
Accounting of coupons granted to customers (including any requested additional breakdown in excel)
Preparing month-end closing accounting and fiscal activities by meeting all required legal obligations and deadlines together with the Chief Accountant
Preparing on time ,accurately all financial reports ( D300, D394,D 390,D100,D101,SAF-T) under Chief Accountant supervision
Executing any other daily accounting tasks based on instructions from Chief Accountant Guidance and supervision the junior financial team members (. ensuring the proper booking of primary accounting documents )
Assisting financial statutory audit, budget and forecast activities
Assisting setup/improvement of accounting processes and procedures
Ensure compliance to the HQ policies and procedures
Providing technical support to the team regarding the ERP accounting system
The ideal candidate?
Degree in accounting or related field required
5+ yrs accounting experience
2+ yrs controllership experience
Thorough knowledge of Fiscal Code appliance

Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Good command and use of Excel (medium - advanced level)
Effective communication skills
Adaptable in fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Open minded, proactive and interactive attitude
Good team work and the ability to supervise more junior members
