    Who is Recruiting From Scratch

    Recruiting from Scratch is a talent agency that connects exceptional people to top companies.

    We represent clients globally - from new startups to large enterprises - and help them find the best talent possible for engineering, product, design, accounting, finance, GTM, commercial, and senior leadership roles.

    Recruiting from Scratch is looking to grow its sales team by bringing on more account executives.

    This is a remote role that is based in the United States, with a preference to be located in a hub near our clients:
    San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, or a large metro area.

    To succeed in this role, you will help drive our sales pipeline, prospect leads, pitch, and turn leads into happy clients.

    You will work in a small team with the ability to make a massive impact.

    You will get exposure to top companies, founders, and be key in building out our sales / GTM hiring practice function.


    What you will do:

    • Your main responsibility will be prospecting, pitching, and closing clients for our Sales / GTM practice
    • Understand the contingent, leadership, and staffing markets and how to sell a premier recruiting service
    • Setting up playbooks, systems, and best practices for growing our team
    • You will work transparently: Tracking all conversations in our CRM, documents, Case studies, and everything we need to grow
    • Be comfortable using Linkedin, Ringcentral, Coda, Apollo, and prospecting tools
    • Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand pains, and position Recruiting from Scratch as a compelling solution
    • Be receptive to new ideas, strategies, and ways to approach selling to prospects
    • Provide feedback to others in department related to information prospects share that could be helpful in advertising/marketing as well as our overall programs

    • You want to make a huge impact in a small organization
    • You have terrific written and verbal skills
    • The ability to proactively engage new clients through email, phone, in person, and video call
    • A high sense of urgency that can adapt in every conversation
    • The skills to passionately and clearly articulate the value of Recruiting from Scratch
    • A team-player attitude with a desire to improve internal processes beyond your day-to-day tasks
    • A desire to learn, grow, and get in on the ground floor of a recruiting agency
    • Curious about technology and business
    • Great at "connecting the dots"
    The Perfect Experience


    • 2+ years of experience in a customer facing role where you need to close business
    • You have a quota and hit it every quarter
    • You have experience selling and working at a recruiting agency

    Base Salary:
    $50,000 - $65,000 with OTE $130,000-$145,000 with uncapped commissions
