Responsibilities

Performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data
Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses
Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns , maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
Documents information by maintaining daily logs and equipment record books
Using computers and performing statistical analysis for the preparation of graphs
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications, keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks
Completes projects by assisting project team; attending and participating in workshops


Requested knowledge:
Basic principles of organic and inorganic chemistry
Laboratory general procedures, equipment, methods of measurement and techniques used in chemistry laboratory
Health and safety practices applicable to a chemistry laboratory
Working with computer systems, software and automatic equipment used for measurements in laboratory control


Profile:
Higher education in Engineering
Similar experience 2-3 years

Team spirit, capacity to manage and delegate

Capacity of analysis, synthesis, initiative and good relationship

Committed and dedicated to maintain high quality standards

Fluency in Romanian and English, French language would be a valuable asset
