Our Client's main activities include:

Licensing:
Our client incorporates a dedicated department for monitoring the licensing procedure of renewable energy production units. The company undertakes the full handling of licenses of photovoltaic and aeolian parks on behalf of its clients.

RES Energy management:
the scope of our Client is to provide reliable energy management solutions.

Apart from developing highly lucrative investments, our Clients offer the option of undertaking full support of operations, taking on demanding day-to-day routines on behalf of their clients.

Construction The company undertakes the planning, construction, and maintenance of RES parks in cooperation with large EPC companies. This combines excellent experience in constructing heavy-duty industrial units with a high level of specialization in renewable energy management.

Our client' company's qualified staff empowers an experienced planning department, ready to take on the conduction of feasibility, environmental, and application studies

Currently, our Client is developing a large RES portfolio throughout the country, consisting of PV Projects with a total installed capacity of above 1 GW.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Project Developer/Senior Electrical Engineer, located in Bucharest, to report to the CEO and the Country Manager; The Project Developer is responsible for the development of renewable energy projects (Solar/Wind) from Green Field to Ready to Build phase.

Main Responsibilities

Develop relationships and trusted partnerships with local authorities and administrations (ANRE, municipalities, forest agencies, communities of cities, and other related authorities) and landowners.

Responsible for market analysis, preliminary research, and evaluation of overseas solar and wind power projects;
Responsible for project information collection, developing targeted investment program plan and negotiation strategy;
Participate in the project evaluation, investment evaluation, and other work, the project boundary conditions, risk analysis, and judgment to ensure that the projected revenue, risk, and different elements meet the company's requirements;
Maintain relationships with local partners, energy and power management departments, power grid companies, and construction units to ensure that the project is connected to the grid on schedule;
Reporting to the office manager about progress and any necessary modifications of operation and timelines that are indicated;
Report to the management and shareholders upon request of the office manager;
Accurately forecasts and timelines of the requested projects;
Generates and issues regular internal and external activity reports and timelines.


IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education and Experience

Higher education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering;
MSc in a subject related to sustainable energy technologies and project management will be considered as an asset;
In-depth knowledge of the Romanian Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes – Could be a plus;
Good knowledge of PV modules, inverters, SCADA, PV Syst, etc;
Extensive knowledge of renewable energy, instrumentation control systems, and an in-depth understanding of solar power generation systems and procedures – could be a plus;
A minimum of 5 years of working experience;
Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents;
Experience with professional oral and written communication skills;

Management:
planning, task monitoring, risk identification, reporting.


Technical skills:
Knowledge of power engineering and energy efficiency fields;
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations within the power, gas, and energy efficiency sectors – could be a plus;
Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, PV Syst;
Good knowledge of legislation on the authorization of construction works;
Excellent use of the English language, both spoken and written;
Driver's license.
