We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking International Financial Accountant to oversee our global financial operations.
This role ensures that payments, reporting, and audits are managed with accuracy,
integrity,and compliance while driving efficiencyand value creation across the business.
You will play a key role in building strong aligned financial practices that support our mission applying research-driven insights continuously seeking ways to maximize value.
(Re)LocationWe offer relocation package to Cyprus offering competitive salary suitable housing support.VDM is hybrid remote company meaning this position is mostly remote.Additionally there is option of working independently from office in Limassol.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Payments ManagementManage weekly payment cycles oversee global bank accounts.Arrange payments across SEPA ACH international wire transfers multiple currencies.Ensure timely payroll execution compliance tax social insurance obligations.Establish manage local international banking EMI relationships.Maintain accurate documentation ensure regulatory banking requirements.Cost Analysis ForecastingAnalyze FX costs key expense categories using historical current data.Routine implement cost categorization frameworks within financial systems.Retrospectively implement cost categories ensure execution software.Create budgets forecasts internal cost reports guide decision-making.Financial Reporting & ManagementsCreate maintain financial reporting structures IFRS ABC standards.Prepare monthly quarterly annual reports all entities countries.Provide insights costs revenues budgets participating entities strategic planning.Audit ComplianceLead coordinate financial tax statutory audits jurisdictions.Oversee local tax planning compliance audit readiness.Partner auditors regulatory bodies transparency professionalism.
