We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Sebes

YOUR ROLE

The Operations Manager is responsible for directing the daily activities of the warehouse, including labor scheduling, supervision and the proper utilization of manpower, equipment and space for the safe, high-quality and productive delivery of third-party logistics services to the client.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct the operations of the warehouse personnel to achieve outlined objectives, organize daily meetings / regular communication to establish clear, ambitious and attainable goals across operations, quality and service, QSHE, profitability, etc.

Develop and direct work plans to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times, including long range planning of labor needs based on customer sales forecasts and Management input
Together with the Site manager, establish and ensure the execution of operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and inventory accuracy, and driving active safety programs
Develop and direct programs to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility and of all warehouse equipment, identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities, and together with the Branch Manager implement a "lean" culture
Develop, implement and direct programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property according to company policies and procedures, ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization, and monitor safety, physical security and operational metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Continuously assess, train, coach, mentor and develop personnel both informally and through formal training programs, provide job performance based feedback
Together with the Health & Safety Manager, drive QSHE implementation and compliance
Ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Romania and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met
Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety & Security programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property
Comply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Romania and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met
Strive for continuous improvements in all facets of warehouse operations
Report operational issues and IT issues


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Five years of operational experience in a warehousing, is mandatory
Bachelor degree in business discipline or manufacturing preferred
Strong customer orientation and problem solving skills
Proven proficiency in a production environment
Successful track record in leadership and supervising the work of subordinates
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement
Computer skills - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel (advanced), etc.
Prioritization and planning skills
Good problem solving skills
Must be team oriented
Self-motivated
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Very good spoken and written English is a must
