HVR is recruiting a Warehouse Coordinator within our partner company specializing in production.


THE ROLE

We're on the lookout for talented individuals to join our client's team located in Drobeta Turnu Severin, for a full-time, on-site position.

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, inventory control, inventory management, communication, and material handling.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, coordinate with internal acquisition and production departments, and uphold the highest standards of efficiency and organization within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders.
• Implement stock control measures to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Manage inventory effectively by organizing storage areas, conducting regular audits, and implementing inventory management best practices.
• Communicate efficiently with internal teams to coordinate inventory needs and facilitate smooth operations.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to material handling best practices and safety guidelines.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of warehouse staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update inventory systems regularly.
• Collaborate with the acquisition and production departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient use of warehouse resources.

THE SKILLS

• Proven experience in receiving, stock control, inventory control, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
• Knowledge of material handling best practices to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to address challenges and optimize warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Relevant certification or training in warehouse management is a plus.
