We are looking for a System Validation & Simulation Engineer who will develop high‑fidelity plant models and drive quality assurance across model‑based workflows. The role focuses on MATLAB/Simulink plant modeling, validation, and verification, CI/CD pipeline automation, and strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate, reliable simulations and compliance with industry standards.
Please be advised that this position is on-site in Belgium; relocation is mandatory.
Compensation: €3,500–€4,500 EUR gross per month + 13th salary, company car, health insurance, meal vouchers, and eco vouchers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain plant simulation models using MATLAB/Simulink to represent dynamic physical systems.
- Validate model behavior by comparing simulations to real‑world or experimental data to ensure correctness.
- Build and support automated test frameworks and CI/CD workflows for model verification, regression testing, automated reporting, and deployment.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve simulation errors, driving continuous improvements in model quality, reliability, and repeatability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders, providing documentation, technical guidance, training, and progress reports.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink, with experience building and tuning simulation models.
- Experience in verification and validation (V&V) of models and complex simulation workflows.
- Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD tools and test automation, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with quality assurance best practices and structured testing methodologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.
