Key Responsibilities:
As a Customs and logistics specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Supply Chain Center.

Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the expeditious handling of all documentation and associated tasks to guarantee the timely availability of materials;
Preparing to facilitate the handling of all inbound and outbound shipments to and from Topband Romania;
Tasked with overseeing the import and export customs clearance procedures for materials and equipment, including the verification of HS codes, examination of packing lists, invoices, contracts/orders, bills of lading, and other relevant documentation to ensure seamless customs clearance processes;
Create standard operating procedures for import and export materials and equipment to ensure customs compliance and delivery on time;
Optimize the best mode of transportation and customs clearance solution for import and export of materials and equipment from China and Europe;
Coordination and analysis of transportation;
Assisting in coordination of carrier networking;
Supporting the enhancement of carrier leveraging capabilities through active participation in development initiatives;
Selecting the optimal transportation method based on both qualitative factors such as reliability, speed, and service level, as well as price considerations to ensure the best balance between quality and cost-effectiveness;
Ensuring meticulous completion of all requisite documentation and guaranteeing accuracy in every aspect of the paperwork pertaining to received and/or shipped materials;
Regular activity coordination for the area of responsibility assigned, including reporting, offers, negotiation of prices, input for budgeting, etc;
Overseeing management of logistics systems tools;
Maintaining positive rapport with local customs authorities and actively liaising with customs brokers to facilitate accurate completion of customs declarations and ensure the correctness of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transmissions;
Daily follow up special transportation requirements and reasons, and monthly report for all costs.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

Bachelor degree or higher, coupled with specialized training in a logistics-related field;
Proficiency in English is a prerequisite, while proficiency in additional languages is considered advantageous (ideally Chinese);
Accumulated 3 years of practical experience in the field of logistics;
Capable of operating effectively under supply chain pressures, adept at coordinating with suppliers, customers, and customs clearance entities to ensure seamless logistics operations;
Demonstrating exceptional skills in planning and problem-solving, adept at devising effective strategies and resolving challenges with precision and efficiency;

Excellent knowledge of legislation and documenting the logistics process;
Maturity and diplomacy in tackling any problem;
Exhibiting a commitment to high ethical standards and maintaining objectivity in negotiating and adhering to contractual terms;
Possessing a keen awareness and taking ownership of implementing a quality-focused and cost-effective approach;
Demonstrating independence coupled with a proactive "hands-on" approach to tasks and initiatives;
Demonstrating a "Business partner" and "Can do" attitude;
