- Direct, monitor and supervise the daytoday activities of all sections within the Front Office department of the Hotel.
- Monitor staff on their conduct and progress.
- Ensure that guests are attended to with promptness, courtesy and efficiency and that guest's complaints are handled with tact and diplomacy.
- Assist in checking in / out of guests.
- Check housekeeping discrepancy report and to report any variance and take corrective action.
- Authorize rate and room changes, paid outs, cash advances, acceptance of cheques according to procedures and credit policies.
- Handle correspondence regarding enquiries, reservations, and complaints.
- Work closely with Reservations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and trains them in areas where they are lacking.
- Coach and train staff the Front Office department.

Requirements:
Fluent in English & German is a must. Knowledge of other languages will be a plus;
Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management is an advantage;
Substantial exposure in reservations department of 4 or 5 star hotels;
Familiar with Microsoft office;
Able to work with various ethnic backgrounds;
Ability to train and develop.
