Assigned to a new role within the same institution to lead the testing and migration of legacy NOC applications to a modern cloud-native framework. This involves leveraging my existing technical knowledge and actively learning new technologies and tools to facilitate a successful migration. That includes technologies and tools like dVCS (git), basic scripting in Bash and Python, advanced Linux, provisioning (virtualization, private cloud – OpenStack, public cloud – AWS, configuration management – Ansible, Infrastructure as a Code – Terraform), containers and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes), microservices and communications (deployments, architectures, API), CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD), observability (monitoring – Prometheus and Grafana, logging – ELK stack, tracing), databases, cryptography, blockchain, etc
